RealManage announced today that Kara Cermak, CMCA®, AMS®, PCAM® and Senior Vice President of Learning and Development won CAI National’s Education of the Year Award. According to CAI, the award is given to an individual who has excelled in elevating the quality of CAI’s education programs by developing, or leading a significant national course.
Kara states, “I am truly humbled by the recognition.” She has taught numerous courses for Community Association Institute and the Illinois chapter of CAI since becoming a faculty member in 2009. In addition to teaching, Kara has assisted with updating Association Communications (M-202) and the online edition of Facilities Management (M-201) course. She also frequently serves as a subject matter expert on course materials and exams and served as co-chair of CAI’s faculty review panel in 2017. Kara is also a member of Community Association Institute’s Board of Trustees.
